The age of wisdom, the age of foolishness

Sorry, it has been a long while since I’ve posted to the blog. It’s been a crazy back half of the summer for me.

I’ve been ramping up for the upcoming fall semester. I’ve been in meetings at clients around the city as well as a quick 24 hours in San Francisco.

I’ve had a chance to catch-up with old friends; and make some new. Had few over at our place for dinner with the family, and had an epic (albeit very brief) road trip/therapy session that can only be summed up in one word, hilarious.

I will be traveling to Pennsylvania in a few short weeks, Dallas for HREvolution, and who knows where else.

I’m scheduled to teach a few more sections of the HR Certificate class as well as PHR/SPHR test prep.

Halloween, birthdays, Christmas, and the New Year will be here before I am fully prepared for it and somehow, we’ll get through it.

The girls are growing, learning, and truth be told, I’m scared that they’re growing up too quick.

There will be homework assignments to review, scrapes to kiss better, doctors visits, and the always present piles of laundry.

For the first time in a very long time, I feel woefully unprepared yet ready to face the upcoming crazy with a smile.

Let’s do this!
